Jen takes the lead on strategic planning, from defining guiding principles through to prioritising actions. She also writes copy for websites, publications and signs, working with clients in land management, sustainability, science and environment.
Jen is passionate about genuine stakeholder engagement, working collaboratively to bring together diverse viewpoints and strengthen relationships.
“I love exploring how information fits together—seeing how the right sequences and connections can make complex ideas clear, even inspiring. After nearly two decades working in national parks, I now explore wild places, forest trails and campgrounds, venturing out with my husband, three kids and camper trailer.”

Bec is the creative director and a copywriter at Storyflight. She writes copy, campaigns and engagement strategies for government agencies, nonprofits and community care providers.
Bec takes the lead on projects with high levels of detail and research. She also specialises in descriptive writing and storytelling, bringing emotion and energy to the stories of people and places.
“I’m interested in understanding how people think. And how content and design can be used to engage readers and spark a reaction. When I’m not at my desk, you’ll find me reading or baking sourdough. Summer storms and time by the sea are just a few of my favourite things.”
Kat McMillan

Kat is a seasoned communications professional with years of experience as a journalist and copywriter. Her passion lies in bridging the gap between people and science to create a stronger connection with our environment.
While completing her masters, Kat researched habitat connectivity for platypus in the Greater Brisbane region. She also honed her research skills assisting multiple non-profit organisations tackle environmental issues around Australia. Kat now brings these skills to research and copywriting projects at Storyflight.
Michelle Roldan Boyd
Graphic Designer
Bachelor of Visual Communication (Honours)
Michelle began her career working in web and digital design, gaining a strong foundation in user experience and human-centred design. Moving into event and brand activation design, she expanded her skills to the built environment.
Michelle is insatiably curious, with a passion for nature and culture. She loves finding fresh, creative solutions that match an organisation’s identity and priorities.
